Our customer brought by his treasured Rickenbacker, which had been shoddily re-fretted in the early 1990's. The previous technician tried to scallop the fretboard but instead of scalloping the top of the fretboard, he scalloped the side edge - ouch! Our job was to repair the sides of the fretboard with Gluboost and then re-shoot the fretboard to make it look like its old regular, Rick self again. After having the board resprayed, Geoff carefully cleaned out the fret slots of finish, installed new period-correct sized nickel frets, made a new bone nut and Plek'd the instrument, ensuring it for many, many years of playability. Our customer says "I couldn't be happier!" Thanks again, John!
