Air pollution and climate change threaten everyone’s health. We’re proud to introduce our newest report, The Road to Clean Air, that highlights the health and climate change benefits of a major shift away from polluting to electric vehicles. The report finds zero-emission transportation solutions along with increasing levels of renewable energy by mid-century will save thousands of lives, avoid tens of thousands of asthma attacks, hundreds of thousands of other health impacts, and avoid tens of billions of dollars in health costs as a result of significant pollution reductions. Shout out to our local heroes! The inaugural 2021 Fight For Air Climb Firefighter Calendar features California’s very own Hector Madrigal, Lance MacDonald, Linda Collister, and Ruben Mandujano from Healdsburg Fire Department. They have participated in our Fight For Air Climb for 10 years and have raised $30,000 to support our vision of a world free of lung disease. We thank all the firefighters who protect us from lethal smoke and step up to the cause every year to support our mission. Lung.org/calendar
