APD Celebrates Black History Month! Today we are celebrating Rosa Park's birthday. Known as "the first lady of civil rights" by Congress thanks to her pivotal role in the Montgomery bus boycotts she helped set up the foundations of civil rights. Let us remember her famous words, "You must never be fearful about what you are doing when it is right." Happy Birthday, Rosa Parks!

The holidays are about gratitude and giving back. APD held a coat drive and today handed out coats and hygiene kits to folks at the Bayview’s Mother Browns with @wscommunityservices and @shamannwalton Thank you to all who contributed to this effort-these coats will help San Franciscans stay warm this winter.
