Live Comedy is a grind and venues are going to find it harder to stay open during this uncertain time. The Setup: Stand-Up Comedy started as a monthly show in 2015 and with the help of the Beer Basement and Ales Unlimited we've been able to record comedy albums, help many comedians submit their late night submissions and created an amazing comedy experience for our patrons. Comedians that have performed here tell us they love the space and always want to come back. Audienc...es are blown away with the visceral energy from the show. We've curated some amazing lineups and created some awesome moments at this venue. Keeping venues running in an expensive city like San Francisco is extremely challenging.
