The most powerful operating system in your life isn't the one you think about when you imagine the inside of your laptop or phone. The most powerful operating s...ystem is the one you're using right now to read these words and process what I'm saying. It's the operating system that sits behind your two ears and behind your forehead. Like an operating system to keep moving forward your brain needs to be reformatted, have its software upgraded and be reconfigured to fit your needs. One of the most dangerous tricks our brains can play on us is injecting fear and negativity into our actions. Negativity can lead us to worries and increased levels of anxiety and stress. Rather than falling victim to these tricks that your brain will play on you, install some habits that limit these moments of doubt and concern. Over the last few months, I've been embracing the idea of meditation and have begun practicing these three concepts to unlock a stream of optimism, positivity and success. Express Gratitude - Say what you're grateful for out loud so you can hear it in your own voice. If it's someone, tell them and spread your gratitude with someone special. Challenge Negative Thoughts - Are you afraid to do something because of how it could look? Change your perspective. How will you feel if you never tried? Repeat Positive Affirmations - You have what it takes to be successful. You have what it takes to achieve your dreams. You have what it takes to win.
