Happy Friday Everyone! The children, staff and even myself have so enjoyed so many of our activities this past month and a half!! We have enjoyed learning about Emperor penguins, icebergs, Antarctica, and celebrating Martin Luther Kings birthday! We learned a lot of facts and that spring will come early this year! Our outdoor Valentine’s Day Party with lots of great activities was wonderful and we were grateful for all the parent participation on this very busy day. ... Good afternoon parents! We have had a wonderful few weeks in December, 2019! The children had a gift exchange, party, decorated gingerbread houses, cookies, cupcakes, learned the letters Gg, Ss and Ww, colors green, red and white. We have had wonderful learning experiences and enjoyed a great month. Me and the staff want to wish all of you a very Merry Christmas and a wonderfully and Happy New Year in 2019! Here are pics from Tuesday’s Christmas Party! A big thank you for ...all of the food parent’s shared with everyone. Thank you to parents who came and helped out during the party. Thank you for the support from all of you who came and attended this year’s music performance from our kids! The children sang 1 Little, 2 Little, 3 Little Reindeer, Santa Finger play/Rhyme, Away in a Manger, Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer, and lastly, We Wish You a Merry Christmas! Good morning Parents, family and friends! Yesterday, Thursday, November 21, was our annual Thanksgiving Feast here at the P.S. The children were so cute in their Pilgrim or Indian headdresses! Thank you to everyone who helped support this event with food and/or their presence. Teacher Kendra leads the singing.... Here’s a video of some of this event: See more

Good afternoon Parents, Family and Friends! We have had such a wonderful learning experience during the month of September! The children’s first week of school began w/the letter Cc and observing our very hungry caterpillars. We introduced the scientific word, metamorphosis as the children were able to observe the various stages of the growth and development of caterpillars into cocoons and then into butterflies. Our second week, we began introducing words that began w/the ...letter Bb. Towards the end of the week, nine out of ten of our butterflies hatched!! we released 9 fully developed Painted Ladies into our backyard environment! The children were so excited for this special event!! Last week we introduced the letter Aa to the children. The children brought a variety of apples to school and on Thursday, we had an apple tasting morning. The children picked their favorite apple and we made an apple graph! On Friday, we cut apple wedges and the children were able to dip their apples in chocolate, caramel or frosting! Of course, they could add sprinkles on too! What a yummy treat after Friday’s lunch! During our final week of curriculum in September, we reiterated all three letters and colors. This month, We have completed three books, The Little Red House, (a Riddle), their Butterfly books, and their Johnny Appleseed Books! Wednesday, we mixed our apple cake from scratch, baked it and we ate it for our John Chapman celebration! You will see pics of all these events and more. Hello to Everyone! We have had such a wonderful summer w/so many activities, experiences and events during these past couple of months! In June was our Big End of Year Celebration and Graduation Ceremony where 17 of our children graduated! Also in June was our field trip to the Fresno Zoo. At the end of June, we completed our school Involvement project w/the Stanislaus County Fair. This year’s project centered around cows! On July 19th, we had our annual field trip to the Fair! What fun! Here are photos of current happenings at the preschool- so many goodbyes to our friends who are beginning their first year of regular school i.e., Kindergarten or 1st Grade! We will miss them all!

Good Friday morning to Everyone! Our summer has been so busy that I am still playing catch up!! We had our last summer field trip on Friday the 19th to the Stanislaus County Fair! The children thoroughly enjoyed this year’s tour! ... I will make a couple of postings in order to accommodate so many photos of our kids and these various events! I hope you enjoy them as much as I did!!

Happy End of Year, Awards and Graduation Ceremony took place this past Friday at my home! We had a wonderful turn out and 14 out of our 15 graduates were present to receive their preschool diplomas and move on up into Kindergarten! This was such a special event for all those present! Each child was tested and received a portfolio outlining their accomplishments. During this event, every child was awarded various certificates for all of their hard work! We were so proud of al...l of them. This year’s theme was Under the Sea and the children adorned various under the sea creature headdresses such as octopus, sea horse, sharks, turtles and whales. So cute! They sang seven different songs from under the sea themes to number rock! The children also learned sign language and Spanish for expressing colors and saying Thank you to parents!
