U R G E N T--Action Needed TODAY Governor Gavin Newsom is planning to issue an executive order this week potentially banning gas appliances that can operate cleaner than electricity. The mandate could be effective as early as 2030. This will further our over-reliance on electricity as our only energy source and set back the fight against climate change. Advancements in propane have made it cleaner, resulting in an immediate positive impact on reducing carbon emissions.... Any executive order should embrace advancements in propane clean fuel technology. If you wish to keep your right to choose what fuels your appliances action is needed! Call the Governor at 916-445-2841. Tell the Governor You want the right to use clean propane for your home! Electricity in California is already too expensive! We need an energy solution that provides options for low-income communities. We need clean propane for those off the grid, in the rural or mountain regions of our state! Propane provides energy resiliency. When the utilities are out, propane is on so you can cook, bath and keep the electricity running! An electric-only solution to climate change is risky and impractical. Propane is transitioning to renewable propane, even more sustainable energy source for decades to come. Demand the Governor does not take away your right to cook with propane!
