Hi everyone! Here’s a bit of an update! As some of you may know we were supposed to move to Long Beach and be opened about a week ago.We submitted our paperwork for city inspections etc in May with the company in charge of our kitchen. Everything usually takes 6 weeks to finish which would’ve perfectly let us open by last week. However our paperwork was never filed and the guy in charge of our account quit. By the time they got us a new representative and sent out our paperw...ork it was stated that we wouldn't be able to open until at least mid to late August. We decided to pull out of the location due to the negligence but are in a jam. We have new opportunities to move to (in Orange County near our old location), however the expenses are too high especially since we've been without an income for almost a month now. We started a GoFundMe to help keep our business alive and to fund new location costs and catch up on some of our bills that we are going to start falling behind on. NEWS TIME! Hi! We here at Seoul Street hope everyone has been well and staying safe...But some bad news. We will sadly be closing our doors end of June :( this is not due to business being slow or us being behind in rent. It’s actually been very busy. However the leasing department of the building has decided to not renew our lease. They have stated that they prefer a different cuisine = an American deli with sandwiches etc.(even though the last two business prior to us were ...delis and they both didn’t make it) Sadly we had no say and now we will be closing at the end of the month. We are overwhelmed with sadness knowing that there was nothing we could do and all because our type of cuisine wasn’t wanted. However! It’s been a fun ride, especially getting to know our regulars and seeing our night market regulars too and we hope to see everyone till our lease is done at the end of June. What’s next you ask? Being forced out when we originally thought we’d be signing an extension has left us without many options, especially during this pandemic...HOWEVER we were really glad to find a new spot and so are moving to a really cool delivery/takeout location in Long Beach! AND we should be returning back to Irvine at the end of the year!
