Happy Howl-o-ween! We had SO much fun celebrating our furry friends and seeing the cutest costumes we’ve seen so far! We appreciate all the pawrents who brought in treats and made this Howliday extra special for our super deserving doggos! We can’t wait again until next year for another spooktacular time! Trick or treat! Did you say treats?! This year may have been a bunch of hocus pocusbut our Rovers are pawsitively ecstatic that we will be celebrating our annual halloween costume pawty! This spooktacular event will take place on Friday, October 30th... Please bring 40 (+) treats, cookies or goodies for all of Rovers buddies & we will be sending every Rover home with a pawesome treat bag that’ll make for a howlin’ good time! Dress your furry friend up and have fun with it! We have a costume contest and fun prizes for the top winners! We capture all the cuteness to share! We of course didn’t forget about pawrents either! We will have a fun guessing game at drop off for the hoomans and the lucky winner will get a goodie and free day of daycare for your Rover! If for any reason your Rover can not participate that day we would still LOVE for them to get a doggie bag to-go!! Kennel cough We have had a few confirmed cases of kennel cough recently which means it is going around We are doing our absolute best efforts in regards to disinfecting , cleaning and looking for any possible signs from our Rovers! There is an incubation period but once dogs start to show signs it is clear.PLEASE help us with our efforts in trying to STOP the spread! It is brought into our facility and it spreads like a cold in a kindergarten classroom. PLEASE do the fo...llowing to help out our efforts: Firstly, make sure your dogs are all up to date on their bordatella and parainfluenza vaccines, these are NOT the viral types that are going around but it will help to ensure your dog is protected against the bacterial forms (the vaccines aren’t pointless:)) we are happy to provide more info on this as well as your vet if there’s any confusion or questions! If your dog is coughing or hacking in the slightest, DO NOT bring them into daycare! We will have to isolate them and contact you right away! We have to be very, very safe with our preventative efforts which means if your dog is coughing or hacking because they ingested a foreign object or have an irritation from a bone or ANY other reasons,we still ask that they stay away from daycare until it is confirmedIf your dog has recently been to a dog park we recommend NO water bowl sharing and look for any slight signs at home, if they experience any DO NOT bring them in and look for progressive signs in case you need to inform or visit your vet.We are so sorry for this inconvenience, we hate it too! If you get confirmation from your vets that your dog has kennel cough please let us now right away! We will continue to reach out to parents who’s dogs have had possible exposure and look for any progressive signs of kennel cough in play group so we can let parents know ASAP!Thank you for all your help and efforts to help us stop the spread and thank you for understanding! We appreciate our staffs hard work and efforts to keep all your dogs happy, healthy and safe!
