Then, how to add the silicone oil to the silicone rubber? Generally speaking, the silicone rubber has two kinds, tin cure (condensation cure ) silicone and platinum cure (addition cure) silicone rubber. And the part B of both kinds are the hardner. Usually, the silicone oil would be added into the hardner. Stir the mixture of silicone oil and hardner evenly before adding the silicone rubber base. How many silicone oil to be added into the silicone rubber? If for our pad printing silicone rubber SE-635# in 32~34 shore A, then every 2% silicone oil (100g hardner, 2g silicone oil), would reduce 1 shore A. And if 25% silicone oil added into the hardner, the hardness would be about 15shore A. If for the common tin cure silicone rubber, every then every 2% silicone oil (100g hardner, 2g silicone oil), would reduce 1 shore A. If for the common platinum cure silicone rubber, every then every 0.5% silicone oil (100g hardner, 0.5g silicone oil), would reduce 1 shore A. Of course, the data above are theoretical. The holes produced on the surface of stone after drying,it may caused by two reason,firstly,if the original stone mold is not clean and has dust on it,the silicone mold you made by this original mold will have Bumps,then products made by this silicone mold will have hole on the surface;of cause,if the silicone mold surface is not clean and have dust on it,the product's surface will also has hole. secondly...,it caused by bubbles,when you cast concrete material,the bubble is not released fully,so the surface has hole. So Pls try to clean the original mold before made the silicone mold,and clean the silicone mold before duplicate your products.and in the process of casting concrete,you should shake the silicone mold to evenly distribute the solution and release the bubble.

Does color has effect on silicone physical property? Actually,Color or adding pigment in to silicone has no effect on the silicone physical property. Regarding to the color,white is the main color of condensation cure silicone,translucent is the nature color of addition cure silicone, skin color is lifecasting's main color. We should communicate details with customers if they need other color.... Now many customers like adjust the color by themselves. In the meanwhile, we should alert customers that the silicone will not cure if it contact with the metal element. Therefore, any pigment containing metal element cannot be added into the silicone. Additionally,pigment has water soluble and oil-based,but for silicone,we should choose oil-based pigment.you also can choose special silicone pigment when you buy it. We advise that customers should make a test before putting the pigment into mass production. for addition cure silicone,it is better you not adjust color by yourself,cause addition cure silicone is sensitive to color,if you not operate well,the silicone will be poisoned and not cured,so you can ask your supplier to adjust color for you.
