In 2018 San Diego Self Storage funded a police service dog through the San Diego Police Foundation. With much anticipation, we are excited to announce that the K9 we funded officially starts the K9 academy today! The SDPD K9 Unit has been recognized as one of the best teams in the country. This unit patrols all San Diego's streets, not just a specific division. These K9's are working 24-hours-a-day, seven-days-a-week to ensure the safety of our communities and we are so proud to support a program that benefits our police force, communities and families. We will share updates as we receive them and want to thank the San Diego Police Foundation for allowing us to be apart of this journey!
