Hi! My mom and I are here at the hospital today for my monthly IV appointment. Thanks for all the recent Band-Aid donations! A big shout-out to all my TCA friends and families that have donated Band-Aid's this month. I'm leaving the box in the school office for one more week for anyone that is still wanting to drop off Band-Aid's. As you can see, I'm wearing my Patriots gear today because it helps me feel cheerful and I'm hoping my team wins on Sunday.

We have already received several donations of boxes of Band-Aid's this month from realtors with AARE in San Diego; thanks so much! Look what we found at the 99 Cent Only Store today - fun boxes of all full-sized Band-Aid's. We'll be putting these in the Band-Aid binder at my next appointment.

On the right is Kurt, my stuffed bulldog that comes to the hospital with me each month, and on the left is I.V. "Ivy" that I brought to the Infusion Center. She is the Infusion Center mascot. My nurses help me keep Ivy looking good for all of us patients and it keeps things fun.

Hi! My name is Selah Garcia and I started Band Together because I am a patient in the Infusion Center at Rady Children's Hospital in San Diego where I receive a monthly IV treatment. When I first started going to the Infusion Center, there were only Sesame Street Band-Aid's, so I decided to collect Band-Aid donations from my school, the Classical Academy. With the donated Band-Aid's, I was able to create the Band-Aid binder for the Infusion Center. I hope that having a fun Band-Aid makes other patient's treatment day at the hospital a little bit better and helps put a smile on their face. Now, I am inviting you to participate in Band Together, as well. You can either give me Band-Aid donations to take to the hospital in person, or you can mail me donations to the address listed on this Facebook page. Thanks!
