Today while working in the lab, we had a special request to get a job done quickly for a patient who has never worn glasses. When the RX came in, I saw that the... patient was a -5.00 OU (very nearsighted) and without any hesitation the lab team came together to make it happen within 15 mins. As soon as the glasses were finished, we rushed to dispense her glasses. She was so happy to see clearly for the first time. Her smile was instant and contagious! Such a beautiful moment with such a beautiful person! She was so thankful and so were we to share this experience. We finished our last day of clinic, serving over 3100 patients. Tomorrow we get to dispense to all our patients and pack up the remainder of our clinic.... Thank you to everyone for supporting this cause.
