Hello All! I hope everyone is staying safe and healthy during this unusual of holiday seasons. I wanted to switch things up a bit and show you something fun to do in the comfort of your own homes. Let’s make a cocktail! Now this certain libation came from a good buddy of mine Nick Saunders down in the South Bay of LA in San Pedro. Nick and I used to bartend together in Manhattan Beach and he is one heck of a mixologist. One more backstory with this. I used Nosotros Tequila ...and their Mezcal. I met these guys in Manhattan Beach a few years back. They put together an amazing product and it is only getting better. They launched their Mezcal this year but their tequilas have been rocking since its inception in 2017. Go out and grab yourself a bottle. We call this drink... The Hibernation Helper. 2 oz Mezcal .75 oz lime juice .5 oz Pineapple .25 oz Amaro .25 oz agave Large sprig of Rosemary Combine all ingredients in shaker with ice. Hard shake for 10-15 seconds. Double strain into double old fashioned with ice or coupe. Garnish with pineapple frond and three dashes bitters (optional). I hope you enjoy making and drinking this cocktail as much as I did.
