The presiding judge of Santa Clara County Superior Court has issued several orders related to the Court closings due to Covid-19. Importantly, restraining orders are being continued during this time. Regarding Custody/Visitation Orders- do your best to comply with current court orders. And work cooperatively with the other parent as much as you can to avoid haggling over the complexities of time-sharing during these unprecedented times.

Public Service announcement: Domestic Violence includes more than just physical violence. The fact that you never hit someone does not mean there is no domestic violence. DV can come in the form of psychological abuse, emotional abuse, verbal abuse and financial abuse.
