Our in-house Sommelier, Liz, hosted a fun and informative wine tasting as part of our partner Sparks Gallery’ Virtual Gallery Exhibition this evening. The Michael David Winery Freakshow Cab was paired with a cheese & appetizer box, and the virtual experience included a walk-through of the dual exhibitions, Q&A with gallery owner and curator Sonya Sparks, and a panel discussion with the artists. Thanks to the team at Sparks Gallery for including us in this fun event!

For those of you who haven't had the chance to meet us yet, we want to introduce ourselves! Today, meet Shannon! / : ... Born and raised in San Diego, Shannon has worked in retail, real estate, and public relations, before joining the events industry almost 10 years ago. Since then, she has risen through the ranks from coordinator to sales and event producer, with a little bit of social media and marketing thrown in for good measure. In her free time, you can find her walking her dog on the beach, watching standup comedy shows, or meeting up with friends for a glass of wine (usually a pinot noir). ? Depends on my mood! Anything Zac Brown Band puts me in a great mood, but if I'm really belting it out - Adele! ( !)? Animal welfare / rescue animals for sure! I like to be the voice for those who have none, and rescue animals just tug at my heartstrings. My 3-year-old Corgi, Max, was rescued from South Korea earlier this year! ? Halloween!! I love dressing up, playing a character, the kids' costumes, memories of trick or treating... and the magic of it all! ..*:**:.*.. That concludes our small but mighty team! !

If you've ever held an event with us, then you have likely worked with Mary or Shannon during the creative planning process, seen Denise flying around on-site making sure the food is perfect (and lighting all the candles), and you've probably chatted about your favorite wine with our GM & Sommelier, Liz. For those of you who haven't had the chance to meet us yet, we want to introduce ourselves! We will be spending the next few Mondays introducing you... to our small but mighty team! : & has over 30 years of experience in the events industry, and also shares ownership of a full-service destination management company in San Diego (Arrangements Unlimited, A DMC Network Company). She is passionate about making the details look easy and taking the worry out of the planning process. When not working, Mary loves to spend time with friends and family, traveling and entertaining usually with a delicious, bold Cabernet in hand! is owner of Continental Catering, a company that was started with her mom in their family kitchen. Her passion for food, event production, and design quickly propelled Continental into one of San Diego’s largest and most well-respected catering companies. Her favorite part of this crazy business is the personal, lasting relationships she has with her clients, who often times turn into friends! ? Red wine, of course! But, I’m also fully admitting to my addiction to Diet Coke why is it so hard to find in the stores right now?! It’s become the toilet paper fiasco all over again!
