Part of what makes Air B"nB travel an attractive alternative a main stream hotel is the feeling that you've got someone in town looking out for you. Our goal is for our guests to experience the best of San Diego and often times that means avoiding the "tourist trap" in favor of local spots off the beaten path. We'll be posting some reviews and suggestions of our favorite restaurants around town...the kind of places you'll never hear about from a hotel concierge. Starting w...ith my favorite Japanese noodle house. Here is an excerpt from my travel guide called "Neighborhood Notes" "Izakaya Masa, Mission Hills 928 Fort Stockton Dr: If you’ve ever been to a noodle shop in Tokyo, you’ll know this place is authentic the second you walk in the door by the smell and the atmosphere. They’re open till 1:00am every night except Monday (closed on Mondays) and offer Ramen, Sushi, Tempura and Japanese Curry dishes. It’s so good, I can’t say enough. The menu is small, it’s very reasonably priced and you’ll be glad you gave it a try! Try the Enoki Mushroom appetizer, you’ll thank me! The sushi and sashimi are always fresh, my favorite ramen bowl is the Hakata and the pork or chicken Katsu curry is a very filling alternative to either ramen or fish."

Latest Review: Jared is a great host and this studio is a great place to stay. The location is perfect because you're pretty close to everything, but it's still easy to park. Also, the bed is extremely comfortable. Couldn't recommend it more for a short stay. Thanks Dillon for your kind words! Hope you'll come visit again when you're in town.
