Hey Aztecs! Had it not been for COVID-19, our MTB & Road teams would've been in Monterey, CA this weekend for the Sea Otter Classic! Check out this epic photo from last year of Ethan Zehr, along with two not-so-flattering screenshots...!

Hey Aztecs! During these difficult times, word has spread that several bicycle shops in San Diego have been forced to permanently shut down due to the economic repercussions from COVID-19. We encourage you to visit our sponsor, Pedal Pushing Bicycle Shop, if you need any work on your bicycles, whether right now or sometime in the future. Bicycle shops are deemed as essential businesses due to the repairs and services they provide for those who utilize bicycles as a method of ...transportation. The employees at Pedal Pushing are following state/federal guidelines in regards to keeping the store sanitary, and would love to tune-up your bike to help make these stay-at-home days a bit more enjoyable for you! And please refrain from partaking in group rides or riding with people who live in a separate household from you. We wish you safety and health in your homes and on your bikes!

If you work in San Diego, consider biking to work on Thursday, May 14th and swinging by campus for SDSU Cycling's pit stop, or see if your employer is interested in hosting their own pit stop!

One of our alumni, John Blaske ('17), moved a bit north but still shreds on his bike! He is currently working at Northrop Grumman in Palmdale, CA as a Structural Engineer for Advanced Programs. His typical weekend rides are at Skypark and Snow Summit during the summer seasons, and local jumplines in Palmdale during the winter.
