Samskruti Kendra is going on a bus trip on May 27th. Here is the itinerary... 7:30am: Leave SD. Pickup Location, Carmel Mtn close to 15 10:30 - 11:30: Malibu Temple Tour and Darshan 11:30 - 12:30: Lunch at Temple... 12:30: Leave for La Brea Tar Pits 2:00 - 5pm: Conducted Tour of the Museum (https://tarpits.org/) and 3D IMAX movie (Titans of the Ice Age) 5pm Leave for Dinner Location (TBD) 6-7PM: Dinner 8:30: Arrive Back in SD The cost is $40/pp. This includes Bus accommodation, Lunch, Tar Pits tour, and IMAX. San Diego Samskruti Kendra was formed out of a need to impart that Samskruti the rich cultural heritage of India, to children living in San Diego. Our goal is to expose these young minds to the great heritage of India and to foster love for the various facets of the Indian culture and fine arts. Exposure to the great Indian epics, traditions, customs and values is provided in a practical, loving and nurturing way to these young minds. A greater appreciation and tolerance for other cultures and traditions cannot be felt without understanding one’s own origins. This organization was started with the intent to nurture future citizens of the world.
