Discover the line-up for the Fête de la Musique Californienne scheduled on June 20 in partnership with Alliance Francaise de San Diego and Alianza Francesa Mexi...cali! Today, meet the artist Saori Jo who will be opening our event! Saori Jo resides in France. Her singing style navigates between Paloma Faith and Kate Bush. While never deviating too far from the mainstream, there's an enchanting quirkiness about her album as it moves from Bush/Amos piano territory to dabbling in elements of European folk, blues and jazz. For the Fête de la Musique Californienne, she will be accompanied on the guitar by Miguel Ruiz and on the bass guitar by Franck Schmidt.
