A fantastic ‘Power Lunch’ put on by our Mesa Interior Design Club (MIDC) officers today! Students gathered to learn more about interior design coursework and professional certification, view completed studio projects, mingle and enjoy lunch and Halloween sweet treats.

Have you heard? San Diego Mesa College recently received the high honor of being named 'College of the Year' by The National Kitchen & Bath Association! Mesa's Interior Design program was selected from among 300 entries from across the country for 'technical merit in student kitchen and bath design'. Big congratulations to our talented students and faculty, and with special recognition going to Helene Lindquist!

Congratulations to the Mesa Interior Design Club's Fashion Team for winning TWO AWARDS at the 2017 IIDA San Diego Fashion Show: SARAH CORREA, ESTEFFANY INZUNZA, ANGELICA CAGLEY, RACHEL BARROGA, SAMBATH PROM-CHIEM, NACIA GREY, CRYSTAL PAYER, and EMILY GALVIN. Our team created and presented an outfit inspired by the Les Misérables musical using only materials from the sponsor and the fabric from the Fabric Grab in September.
