With 568 national wildlife refuges... and 38 wetland management districts covering 95 million acres of land we have so much to celebrate! Wildlife refuges not only help provide vital habitat for thousands of species but also offers outdoor recreation opportunities to millions of visitors each year. Recreational opportunities vary from refuge to refuge but there is so much you can do to Live Your Wild like fishing, hiking, yoga, running, painting, stand up paddle boarding, camping and so much more! How do you enjoy your nearby refuges and Live Your Wild? We really want to know! 1) In the comment section below this post, share with us a photo of yourself enjoying an appropriate and safe outdoor activity either in San Diego NWR, San Diego Bay NWR, or Tijuana Slough NWR. 2) We will confirm your submission during normal business hours Monday Friday and start processing your sticker to be delivered by mail.
