Hi everyone, we have been informed of a position that has become available at Pacific Rim Mechanical. Alan Bretschneider, the IT Director for the company, has sent us the following email: "Pacific Rim Mechanical has a fantastic opportunity to work for a great Southern California Mechanical contracting company with over $100M in annual revenue . We have an opening for a Junior IT Analyst in a small IT shop. You will be helping support the companies IT infrastructure. You will ...wear many hats and be exposed to the latest and great technologies. On top of working on a small IT team, you will be directly responsible for a 100 Plus handhelds used by our Service technicians. This includes setup and troubleshooting, software upgrades, remote management, RMA's, etc. You will also be directly responsible for the companies Microsoft CRM deployment. With company provided training and external consulting resources, you will build your knowledge of the system and eventually be writing SQL reports, custom forms, and macros to further automate our service department. Future projects will likely include SQL programming and report writing for our other departments, Web based programming as it relates to extending our business data to the cloud, ???? Ideal candidates will not only be able to write and troubleshoot SQL queries or VB macros, but also be able to provide helpdesk support, train end users on software and hardware. Must be a team player with great interpersonal skills. In other words, "A programmer with customer service skills!" If you think you have what it takes, please send me your resume! I look forward to meeting you." If interested, please forward you resume to Alan at: [email protected]

Today's Meeting...... AITP has a great opportunity for those looking to boost their resumes for job opportunities. AITP is currently operated by graduating senior members looking to pass their duties down to those interested. We will be holding open executive meetings from 12pm to 1pm every Wednesday in the EBR (SSW 2601). I encourage members and non-members alike to join our meetings and express their opinions. We also encourage open inputs of how AITP can better serve students within the MIS major. We look forward to seeing everyone at our meeting.
