The SCVWS plein air group meets weekly to paint at a variety of outdoor locations. This THURSDAY, October 29, the Paint Site location is: New Almaden Historic District. The group will meet at Saint Anthony Historic Church, 21800 Bertram, San Jose CA 95120. There are many historic houses and buildings (church, post office, hotel, etc.) dating back to the 1840s and linked to quicksilver (mercury) mining to paint.
