Learning to read people, including through their facial expressions, is important for the kids. Expressing amazement to a child proudly displaying a wondrous creation he has made however is a bit more challenging from behind a face mask! No need to panic. Ms. Natalie has it under control!
Meet Ms. Dipti, a new teacher in our Preschool program. She loves travelling and dreams of visiting Paris one day. And follow her cooking blog! Details here: scuttlebugscdc.com/our-staff/
Seeing the children explore their limits and grow in confidence before our eyes! Seeing the glow of pleasure as they conquer a challenge. Happy times! Supervised active time, mainly outside when possible, is an important part of our days. There's lots of space, equipment and of course the surface is protective against knocks etc. Now let's get climbing!
Ms. Megan is a huge fan of Disneyland. She collects Minnie Ears and Disney Pins and every time she visits Disneyland, Ms. Megan can’t wait to try their new foods/drinks. She also has two fur babies, Duke and Bear chocolate lab mix and black lab. Read Ms. Megan's bio on our website: https://www.scuttlebugscdc.com/our-staff/

The art of teaching is the art of assisting discovery This quote really resonates with me when I think about my work as an early childhood educator. I’m looking forward to partnering with all the teachers and families at ScuttleBugs to ensure that students are well cared for so that they can wonder and discover to their heart’s content! Welcome Ms. Vivian! read her bio on our staff page: www.scuttlebugscdc.com/our-staff/
It's a busy time at ScuttleBugs! Play time is a hive of activity all around the playground. Friends playing together. (Teachers too!) Different activities to choose from. Happy days indeed!

"Ms. Sara enjoys cooking, playing video games (outta my way!), and reading according to her own confession, she likes cheesy romance novels and manga. Fast reader, Ms. Sara can finish a book of 300 pages in a day and sometimes has to intentionally slow down so that she can enjoy a good book a little longer."
