SCST, an Atlas Company is excited to be providing roofing/waterproofing consulting and exterior building envelope services in support of the expansion and renovation of California Hospital Medical Center’s Downtown Los Angeles campus! Project includes the addition of a four-story, approximately 15,000 sq ft patient tower thereby enhancing its emergency, trauma, and maternity departments. The modernization also includes the new state-of-the-art facilities, medical technology and ensuring facilities meet current seismic safety standards. Perhaps most obviously, infrastructure in the U.S. is very weak, recently earning a grade of D+ on the American Society of Civil Engineers’ Report Card for America’s Infrastructure.
