Smash cake all ready for its picture debut!

My girl Carmela helped me create her 11th birthday cake for her party tonight. Chocolate cake with chocolate chips between the layers. Homemade "pineapple" macaroons. Waiting for the flamingo to dry to finish the look. Love my girls and their massive desire to be in the kitchen with me.

It's not very often I get to bake these days. I love when the creations I can make are for one of my babies. My oldest walks the stage tomorrow as a high school graduate. Look out word, Gavin is ready for you!!!
