Our 1st mate is in need of help.

Annual haul-out of SSS Yankee today. Got her on the trailer and the crew got mast down in record time with no problems. Across the two bridges she went to the sea scout boat barn at Redwood Marine Terminal #1 in Samoa, ready for a power-wash and some maintenance work on the keel winch/general tune-ups. We'll be switching over to the SSS Atterbury as our primary vessel for the next several sailboat outings; look for us on the water. Sea Scouts - - Better Prepared!

Splash-down for our second sailboat, the SSS Atterbury, after a nearly two-year retrofit. This is a MacGregor built, "Venture of Newport" 23' cutter. Now begin the sea trials. Official dedication & christening pending; look for future updates on the event for dates, etc. She is now berthed at the bottom of the gangway opposite our Catalina 22' [and ship name-sake] "Yankee." You know what they say, one sailboat is sailing, two sailboats are racing. Look for us out on the water. Sea Scouts, better prepared!
