QSP Spotlight: Say hello to Divine Godinez, one of our Southern California QSP’s. Divine attended Cal Poly San Luis Obispo where she studied Environmental Management and Protection with a concentration in Hydrology and Watershed Management. During her time in San Luis Obispo, Divine worked as a student intern on a project for the City of San Luis Obispo where she reported on stream flow and measured water quality parameters throughout the city. This background in water quality testing gave her a solid foundation to join our SoCal team in February 2018, right in the middle of one of our wettest winters on record! Divine quickly obtained her QSP and now manages several of our projects focusing in San Diego County. #QSP #stormwater #swppp #construction

Enrollment under the CA Industrial Stormwater General Permit had been lagging for several years since it's adoption in 2015, but everything changed last year with the passing of State Senate Bill 205. Businesses in numerous industries are now required to provide proof of IGP enrollment when renewing and applying for their local business license. Luckily Scott Environmental Health & Safety Services, Inc was one of the first organizations to provide IGP consulting, and our team... of Qualified Industrial Stormwater Practitioners (QISP) has been well-positioned to assist the recent influx of clients since the adoption of SB 205. If you need help enrolling in the IGP or are curious whether SB 205 applies to your business, please reach out and our team will be happy to guide you toward stormwater permit compliance! #compliance #environmental #IGP #SB205 #Industrial #Stormwater
