Just a few more hours to have a meal out in San Francisco. We hope you come enjoy our safe dining setup and our Miracle on Pier 47 Winter Wonderland lights.
Today looks like everyone's last chance to have brunch out for a few weeks, so make it count! We're keeping it extra-safe and extra-delicious, with pier-to-plate items such as Wild Salmon and Shrimp Cake Benedict, and signature brunch cocktails--all served Bay-side with he best views in San Francisco!
Right out our front door provides the best look at the local crab fleet preparing for the season. No word yet on when the Dungeness crab will be to market...but it looks like it's going to be soon!
Supporting small, sustainable fishing operations is critically important to our mission at Scoma's. For example, we get our Petrale Sole from the F/V Mr. Morgan of @morningstarfisheries--a great operation out of Half Moon Bay which has the highest level of accountability of any West Coast fishery. The Mr. Morgan is the only Scottish Seiner operating in the United States, using a fishing technique with very low levels of bycatch and dramatically less bottom degradation than trawling. The Mr. Morgan is also a founding member of the California Groundfish Collective-a group of California fishermen who have teamed up to drive sustainable change in the fishing industry. Their commitment has earned them the exclusive Green rating from Seafood Watch. As they say "better fishing means better fish!"
Miracle on Pier 47 holiday winter wonderland. Join us for drinks and dinner outdoors by the Bay this evening!
Definitely a merry Christmas!

Friendly reminder: it's the weekend!
"Ling Cod is the perennially under-appreciated VIP of our menu," says Scoma's Culinary Director Gordon Drysdale. "People are taken aback by the markedly bluish cast to the fresh filets, but that means it's THE freshest! It makes excellent fish n’ chips!"
Scoma’s will be participating in the special fall edition of SF Restaurant Week from October 23rd to November 1st! We have a special three-course menu for the 10-day event and are more excited than ever to be a part of the incredible San Francisco bar and restaurant scene.
