Hi, my name is Steve Christy, owner of SC Move Management. We have been helping make moving simple, affordable, and efficient for over 40 years. We specialize in residential, business, and IT moves to, from, and within Orange County. I’m here to assist your customers in their moving process.... During the 40+ years I have been in this business, I have seen many ups and downs in the moving and logistics industry caused by many unforeseen circumstances. Due to the state of our country right now and this unprecedented time we are in, I foresee there being a huge disruption to trucking and logistics this summer. This is a scary thought because as we enter peak season for moving people do not realize how this disruption due to coronavirus is having an impact on logistics, which will create a backlog for trucking companies, which will effect moving, which will effect homeowners trying to move, and so on and so on. I would like to help your customers plan for their move now, even if they don’t have a solid move date. Planning ahead will protect them from all the horror stories people hear about when using movers, such as scam movers, unqualified movers, movers that use the bait-and-switch method, movers that use unrealistic promises trying to secure the job, etc. We have even heard about moving companies who come and pick up your stuff, move it to a warehouse to get loaded on a long-distance truck and then it sits there for months waiting for a truck to move it.
