AUTHORS LUNCHEON GOES VIRTUAL! This year marks the 20th anniversary of the Solano County Library Foundation’s major fundraiser, the annual Authors Luncheon. Because of the Covid-19 pandemic and the subsequent cancellation of in-person events, November 1st will be the first Virtual Authors Luncheon in a new, exciting and safe format. We will feature some of our favorite authors who have participated in the event over the years, including Sheldon Siegel, Catherine Coulter, Lis...a See, Pamela Samuels Young, Ryan McCulloch and Suzanne Cotsakos, who will participate in either an individual presentation or a conversation with our event moderator Suzanne Bruce. Individual tickets for the Luncheon are $40 and sponsorships are welcome. We have also set up a "Fund the Need" to help provide internet access to students in need. In addition to the authors, we will feature book sales of the authors’ works and online live and silent auctions. To purchase tickets and for more information go to solanolibraryfoundation.org. The Solano County Library Foundation is a 501-3C organization which raises funds in support of the Literacy Programs offered through the Solano County Libraries, including Reach Out and Read, Tutor.com, Solano Kids Read and Adult Literacy Programs.
