WOW WOW WOW! What an incredible event! We weren’t sure what this year would look like coming off of a 2 year break because of covid, but you all showed up ready to sell and shop! We LOVED seeing so many familiar faces and so many new faces! We are so incredibly blessed to have been able to have 10 sales and continue to provide an event where women can shop each other’s closets! Thank you consignors and event helpers! You ladies are the backbone of our sales and we couldn’t... hold Scarlet Threads without you! To our families, you all are the most wonderful heroes of the sale! Between babysitting our kiddos, to working with us the whole event, making sure we have a warm dinner to come home to and just pouring in in every capacity! Thank you! Happy Birthday to my AmberLee! I say my AmberLee because she is a part of me, spiritually, emotionally and when we’re together physically! And don’t try to even claim her she’s not available! Haha! But seriously I’ve gotten 16 years of friendship and 8 years of business partnership with this incredibly beautiful lady and I’m so thankful! This year has been stupid hard! With losing her dad and my mom this year we together became even closer as we continue to lean on each other for love and support although 1000 stinkin miles separate us! Hello beautiful ladies! Phewsh 2020 sure has been a crazy year so far! We wanted to give you ladies a sale update since we have gotten lots of messages asking us if we will have a summer event this year. We are devasted to say we are not going to have a summer 2020 event. If we can be totally honest for a minute, this sucks! That's kind of the nice way of putting it! We have poured our hearts into Scarlet Threads for 9 events and we had HUGE plans this year to kick off our 10...th anniversary! So quickly we saw our excitement turn to sadness. We know, a little dramatic? But in all seriousness this little business we have built is a source of income for our families and for many other families to make extra cash selling their goods. We want you all to know we have spent the last few months exhausting every effort to make this happen, trying to figure out new ways to reinvent our business and still provide an awesome event for our consignors and shoppers. However, there are just too many restrictions placed on us at this time. As business owners we aren't just sad over the loss of the financial aspect, but equally sad to miss out on a wonderful community of ladies that come to our events that we get to hug, laugh and party with! We know so many are in similar situations and our community is hurting and we are fervently continuing to pray for you all! We are confident there is some good to come! Hopefully soon!
