Aspiranet's Annual Open House/Harvest Festival 2018!. At this event we recognized the community partners that assist us with services to our TAY community. Assistance League, Corporate Advocate, Olive Garden, Kaiser Permanente and Loma Linda/San Manuel Gateway College are among the partners that attended this event. Thank you all for your generous support!
Aspiranet is fortunate to have wonderfully supportive partners in local business communities. In 2017, GQ Men’s Fashions www.gqmensfashions.com began partnering with Aspiranet San Bernardino’s Transitional Aged Youth (TAY) program when owner, Ozzy Moreno donated 10 new suits for a group of young men for the Purpose Gala Benefit on September 7th. This April, Mr. Moreno provided suits for three of our young men to wear for their job interviews, and in May he donated a tuxedo t...o an Aftercare program young man to wear to his prom. When Employment Bootcamp came in June, Moreno supported our young adults by generously donating 15 suits. We greatly appreciate Ozzy Moreno and his family’s donation to the young adults in Aspiranet’s TAY program. Thank you for making a difference! #aspiranethopeforward #aspiranettay #gqmensfashions #dresstoimpress See more
Communities benefit when non-profits come together to show support for those in need. On June 30th, Aspiranet in San Bernardino partnered with the local Habitat for Humanity for a staff team building day on a project to paint an elderly couple’s home. Volunteers from Aspiranet included Andrea Bogan, Art Imla, Atorrie Burrell, Aysia Washington, Guadalupe Angel, Karen Barone, Keisha Pruitt, and Kimberly Fuentes. Andrea Bogan, Aspiranet TAY Core Program Supervisor noted, It was... such a rewarding and enjoyable experience. We are looking at collaborating with Habitat for Humanity to create a give back experience in the near future for our youth that are over 18 transitioning from foster care to independence. Bogan reached out to Habitat for Humanity San Bernardino area to find out how they could partner with the organization. Because of Habitat’s mission and accessibility to projects locally it was a good fit, and staff agreed. After the 4-hour project, staff commented that it felt good to give back by doing something for those less fortunate. Way to go Aspiranet SBO! #aspiranethopeforward #habitatsanbernardino

Aspiranet would like to give a big THANK YOU to event host, The Corporate Advocate, along with the other individuals and organizations that contributed to the P...urpose Gala 2017 Investing In the Future of Our Foster Youth. With the support of our generous sponsors, donors and guests, we raised over $15,000 at this amazing event! We also want to thank our remarkable guest speakers, Trinity Wallace-Ellis and Chris Chmielewski for coming out and delivering inspirational and impactful speeches to all our guests. 100% of all ticket sales, sponsorships, and donations will assist Aspiranet’s Transitional Aged Youth (TAY) Programs that help youth with basic needs like transportation, safe housing, ongoing education, job readiness training and employment, and mental health and emotional support. As guests entered the event, they were photographed in masks that celebrated the masquerade theme. Silent auctions allowed guests to peruse and bid on youth artwork, auction items that included a one-week get away to Colorado, a Los Angeles Angels Baseball themed basket, and other sought-after items. After dining and dancing, the night concluded with sponsor recognitions, and Aspiranet youth received awards for their determination and resilience. Couldn’t make the event, but still want to help? Its not too late to donate to support at-risk youth transitioning from foster care to independence, making it possible for them to achieve their goals for the future. Visit aspiranet.org/donate to make your online donation.
In observance of #LaborDay, our office will be closed on Monday, 9/4. We will reopen on Tuesday, 9/5
