Just in Time for Holidays! Family Photo Mini Sessions to Benefit SBCS In partnership with the SBCS Parent Alliance, we are presenting our Fall Photo Fundraiser with fellow SBCS Parent, Emily Schroeder of Emily Schroeder Photography. To ensure all photos are returned to families by December 15 we will have three dates available for mini-sessions. Saturday, 11/21 Stow House... Sunday, 11/22 Rocky Nook Park Sunday, 11/29 East Beach Safety precautions will be in place to keep everyone safe. Each session will be 20 - 25 minutes long. Families will receive a minimum of 10 high-res digital files by December 15. Each session is $80, with 50% of the proceeds being donated directly to Santa Barbara Charter School. Payment is due in advance to secure your time. Please fill out the corresponding google sheet with your information at the time that works best for your family. As you look closely you will notice people, drawings, photographs, still life, play dough, Lego, and so much more. Try it yourself, if you’d like. #artseducation ... Task instructions: Here's a cool project that comes out of the Getty Museum. Find a famous painting, then make your own version using 3+ common items you can find in your home. You can copy a picture of the original painting and a photo of your "forgery," then post them in our classroom stream for everyone to enjoy. In addition to the instructions and examples (first link), I've attached links to some famous museums that are offering "virtual tours" -- go visit some museums and find a painting that you'd like to re-create.
