What a wonderful time we had in The Lord last night at VBS. Our word for the night was Salvation Luke 19:1-10. Please come out to our final night of VBS we promise you will be blessed! **Parents please remember to bring back your signed permission slips for your child(ren) to attend the pool party on Saturday. If you did not get a permission slip and would like your child to attend please make sure you fill one out tonight at VBS.

**TOUCHDOWN** We have won 2 souls for Christ on last night at VBS. "Anyone who believes and is baptized will be saved. But anyone who refuses to believe will be condemned." Mark 16:16. We are so excited about what God is doing at our VBS. Last nights word was Thanksgiving 1 Thessalonians 5:18, and how we should be thankful for ALL things. Tonight is going to be even better and you have to be there to witness it. Come and join us!!

What a great time we had on last night at VBS. Our word for the night was Community and building a solid foundation, Ezra 3:11. Won't you please come out and join us tonight from 5:30pm-8:30pm. We would love to see you there!

It is that time of year again for Vacation Bible School, and our babies are excited! We are looking forward to a glorious time in The Lord. We would love to have you there too. Classes will begin August 19-23 nightly @ 5:30pm, just in time for back to school. So bring your babies and yourself because we have great things in store for our adults too.

Learning the language of prayer is not easy for some kids. Talking to "someone" you can't see may be uncomfortable and isn't as natural as a teacher would expect. Most kids just don't know what to say or what they should say. Praying is a natural activity once that connection is established but getting there can be a bit of a challenge. Nevertheless, the ability to talk to God privately and with a corporate church body is important to teach young Christians. Teaching kids how... to pray while they are young will keep them connected throughout their adult life. Provide children with honest demonstrations and visual lessons. Talking to God will become a joy, not just something parents do. Praying to God works both ways. Not only does He get to know our voice, we learn to identify His. We should tell the kids about the benefits of praying. Explain that if they want to know God's voice better, they should talk to Him. He loves to talk back. Prayer is our special way of talking to God so remember to pray as many times as you can. A future filled with Hope...Stand firm with Hope...Having Hope...Living in Hope...HOPE in the bible expresses confidence and assurance concerning the future because its based on God's promises, Character and Faithfulness. Christians always know they have Hope because they have God in their hearts.

Proverbs 23:22 Listen to your Father who begot you and do not despise your mother or her advice when she is old...Our Father's and Mother's want to help us. We are their own flesh, and they want even better for us, than they had themselves. Be glad when God is good to you and when He allows your parents to live a long time. The child in the home is to be willingly under the authority of parents with obedient submission to them as the agents of the Lord place over you, obeying parents as if obeying the Lord Himself. The reasoning here is simply that is the way God has designed and required it! Happy Father's Day

A Children Church provides a context for children to learn how to respect their elders. This habit is also best learnt-by-doing. Childern's Church is an excellent format to teach kids how to interact with and to respect older people. We will invite an older church memberhare a testimony about their many years of serving God. Hold up long-term faith fullness as something that should be greatly respected. It provides a context for children to learn to do peer-to-peer evangelism.... When kids invite other kids to "Children's Church" they take first steps to witnessing to their friends. Children's Ministry helpsake that happen by encouraging kids to invite friends to church and talk about Jesus in their regular life, younger kids don't have the same shyness about witnessing as adults. So we will help them spread the good new about our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. A pray to receive Christ...Dear Lord Jesus, I believe you died for my sins and rose from dead. Thank you that I can receive you as my Savior from sin and become a member of your family. Please forgive my sins and come in and live in me today...Today I became a member of God family!
