Saving DAI Rescue

Sad day for Saving DAI Rescue..Stella left us and got her wings today. She is running in the green grass and and drinking from the clear blue springs. Stella is in no more pain or confusion. I had Stella for 6 short months and watched her change and learn to trust again. She was rescued from the almond orchards where she was left to die. It was a hard decision, but Stella let me know that it was time and she trusted my decision to let her go. Will always remember you sweet girl. Thank you Imagine Peace for Pups Rescue for all the financial help for this sweet girl.

AND GOD MADE A DOG

It’s been a couple weeks since I had to say goodbye to my Bandi girlmy heart still hurts everyday missing her, but this little family has helpedthis is Stella... and her 9 pups. Stella was abandoned by her owners and found living in the crawl space under a house down in Bakersfield. It took rescuers over 5 hours, but they were able to save Stella and all 9 of her babies. Bandi was one of 9 puppies that I fostered 15 years ago and I felt a pull to answer the foster request for these guys. Stella and the puppies were transported (along with a huge truckload of other dogs being rescued from high-kill shelters and unfortunate situations) up to Portland and needed a safe place to go. So our house it was! This poor girl has been through so much. She’s SUCH a good momma and such a sweet sweet girl. Puppies won’t be ready for adoption for another month or so, but all 9 will need homes and so will sweet Stella girl. Please send me a message if you or someone you know can provide a fur-ever home and I’ll send you a link to the rescue group’s application. Adoption fee applies. All dogs will be vaccinated and spayed/neutered. There are 2 boys and 7 girl puppies. Born around 5/20/21. Momma Stella is only 2 years old and will soon be spayed as well. She is shy at first, but loves to stick by your side, loves kids & is good with other dogs and cats (as long as they are not near her babies of course). Stella is a tiny, 42lb husky/shepherd/border collie. Pups will definitely be bigger. Dad(s) may have been a Rottweiler/shepherd mix.
