Just wanted to do an update on a few SCR related things: -NO ONE has been authorized to use the SCR name or logo on any rod builds/merchandise for public retail, please notify me of any persons doing this.... -the website and SCR emails are no longer active, the only remaining SCR social media is this FB page and Instagram page only. -there are no completed rods available for purchase - if you had previously placed an order with SCR and have inquiries regarding your deposit and/or components return please contact me through this page to settle your account. Brent Ikari's Celebration of Life Memorial Service Please join us as we celebrate the life and legacy of one of Long Beach's finest and an incredible rod builder, Brent Ikari Wednesday, January 25th, 2016... The services will commence promptly at 11:00AM so please be on time 7390 E Carson St, Long Beach, CA 90808 located directly behind the Lowe's building Parking will be located at the POA lot with overflow parking at El Dorado Park. Although greatly appreciated, Brent had asked in lieu of flowers that monetary contributions be given instead to help during this time. Dear followers of Sato Custom Rods, It is with a heavy and broken heart, that I announce the passing of my beloved husband and the owner & rod builder of Sato Custom Rods... Brent Ikari He passed away peacefully at home with me by his side last night. He slipped into sleep quietly and is now able to rest free from pain. No more pumps beeping throughout his day, no more nausea and vomiting, no more needle pokes, no more surgeries. He is free from the burdens of a physical bod...y and his soul is at rest with the Lord. He battled cancer courageously and was a beacon of strength for our family. Words cannot express the deep sorrow my heart feels even though I know he is in a better place. Thank you to everyone who was part of this journey with us.
