One of my favorite looks I’ve done behind the chair! This took two appointments to achieve. 1st appointment was a big chop about 12 and then getting an even canvas by doing a full bleach out then tone. (Took about 6hrs) ... 2nd appointment haircut, halo parting for the purple from @pulpriothair velvet/ clear and for the silver/platinum was @redken 8v/9v. I love the way she rocks this new look! Purple is one of my favorite colors to do!! Using @joicointensity amethyst and orchid on previously natural white/grey hair. Who says you can’t have fun colors when you are in your 60s!!

My home away from home. As I look into my empty salon I can’t help but feel anger. I know a lot of salons who have made the tough decision to downsize their space so our guests can feel safe because of COVID. Maya and I are the only two stylist that work in the salon. We are doing our part and following protocol to have a clean and safe environment for our guests. NuDay Salon is a brand new salon, we worked so hard to create this safe space to only be told 2 weeks after openi...ng to close down again...oh but wait we can work outside in a dirty ass parking lot and only do dry haircuts @gavinnewsom I stand with my fellow cosmetologist, barbers, massage therapist, esthetician, restaurants and all the small businesses effected in California. We are essential, we want to work, we are safe, we have 1600 hrs of training on top of our ongoing education we do on our spare time when we aren’t behind the chair. @gavinnewsom you are ruining our beautiful state, you are forcing businesses to close down permanently because we can’t afford to pay our bills that keep coming every month!
