Hey Friends! I've fielded A LOT of questions in the past few days about the local housing market, interest rates on mortgages, and whether or not it's a good time to consider purchasing. And as we've seen, many of our community events have been cancelled or postponed due to concern over our individual and collective health. So, in consideration of our nervous systems and in full support of minimizing our exposure, I've decided to try something new and move this month's wo...rkshop to an online format, via Zoom. I LOVE being in the room with you and answering your questions every month. It's truly one of my favorite things about my work; and I promise to bring my knowledge and energy into this online format too. You'll have to provide your own snacks, but I promise that Evelyn Freitas and I will make up for that in content and take you out for snacks some time soon. Plus we'll send you a PDF of the presentation so you can follow along at home. PS. It occurred to me more than once today that some of you would be delighted not to have to leave your house for a social gathering or a workshop, in general. I see you, I bow to you, I am you, and I've got you. And it also occurs to me that some of you would truly like to, and simply can't for any number of reasons. So, from now on, I'll be offering Buyer Consultations via Zoom as part of my efforts to make this material more accessible to everyone who wants it. If this is you, reach out any time and we'll schedule it. Lake Merritt has its own crustacean? Although this shrimp-like beach hopper, technically known as Transorchestia enigmatica, was likely introduced to Oakland from the southern hemisphere it has close relatives in Chile and New Zealand no other critter known to science matches it, so it is a species endemic to Lake Merritt.

I read an article today stating that interest in home ownership has increased but along with that, the same people also report feeling daunted and confused by the process . What is it that you would most like to know? Drop it in the comments, send a message, or give a call. Let's break this down!

I've got my February Home Buying Demystification Workshop on the calendar for you or anyone in your life who is considering home ownership in the East Bay within the next couple of years. As always, I will be delivering a thorough overview in a way that is easy to understand and actionable, regardless of where you are in the process. Please sign up early if you are interested and feel free to share the link with the people in your life who are contemplating this journey. Thes...e events are intended to be of service to the community, and as such, are free. Beginning in March, these workshops will be held on the first Thursday of every month. 6-8PM https://www.eventbrite.com/e/home-buying-101-achieve-your-r

Buyers have so much to consider; among other things, there are the reports, the price, the location, but one mustn’t forget the apocalypse.

We are so looking forward to our first workshop of 2020! We are on a mission to empower home buyers one conversation at a time!

I love the original tile in this bathroom. It’s amazing what can be done with repairing or replacing old grout. #buyersagent #eastbay #integrity #homerepairs #eastbayrealestate #openhouses #thismustbetheplace
