REMINDER MAINTENANCE HOURS TOMORROW (THURSDAY) FROM 8-12 Due to volunteer availability, we have decided to keep our maintenance hours on Thursdays for the time being. The bike park will be closed for riding during these hours, but we encourage anyone that wants to help maintain the park to come out and lend a hand. The park is getting pretty beat up with the dry days and the amount of riders at the park. Any help we can get will be appreciated and will benefit the park greatly. Everyone is welcome regardless of experience. Tools will be provided.

The third week of our Phase 4 weekend fundraising bonanza is underway. This week’s prizes are an Alpha Two bike from @prevelobikes A @patagonia gift set, a gear bag from @onealracing, and some Sapwi Bike Park gear. We are looking to make a flow line on the hill next to the park, add another jump on the Expert Line, replan the Beginner Line and resurface the pump track. Big thank you to the volunteers that came out for some very productive maintenance hours today. @jeremyjohn_79, @charleswendorf, Ryan, Eli, and Juan Carlo worked to make the landing of #5 of the Expert Line more steep while @oldgregbear and Peter Sullivan installed a new information kiosk near the pump track.

The Weekend Fundraising Bonanza is back!! We are ready to start fundraising for Phase 4 of the bike park...and since it was such a success for Phase 3, last year, we are bring it back this year! It will be run the same as last year in that the highest bidders each weekend can win different prizes from a variety of sponsors. We will announce the first prizes this Friday (May 28) that will be available for the weekend. We will close the window each Monday and pick a weekly winner.

EXPERT LINE IS OPEN Thank you to @charleswendorf for getting out early this morning to fix the broken board on the Expert Line so that everyone can ride today. The ramp has been tested and is solid, so have get back out and have fun! #wendorfwoodworking #ramptriage

EXPERT LINE CLOSED FOR REPAIR We were alerted that the 3rd ramp on the Expert Line is broken. This presents a safety hazard so the entire Expert Line will be closed until further notice. We are going to get out there to fix the ramp as soon as possible. In the meantime, the line signs will be posted and cones will be up. Do not ride the line until we can fix the ramp. You will be putting yourself at risk and causing more damage to the ramp. Thank you for your patience while we get this taken care of.

First runs of 2021! Get out and bring in the new year on the bike. It is expected to be very windy, today. Please ride with caution

Happy New Year to everyone that has made this bike park such a huge community over the past year. In the past year, we have become one of the best bike parks in the area and that is all because of the awesome people that come to the park. Thank you to everyone that has made this community bike park so special in 2020! We can’t wait to see what 2021 has in store. If you have any good memories from the past year, please share them in the comments below!

The park will be opened for New Year’s Day! Get out and celebrate 2021 by getting rad at the park!

Update 12/31: We did some clean up work on the most saturated areas of the park, but there are still some pretty soft areas on the Expert and Advanced lines. We are going to let them dry out a little more and hopefully open tomorrow. We will make an official announcement later today. Thank you @charleswendorf , @blutes77 , Marco and Peter for coming out to get the park ready open

12/30 Update: we were hoping that the park would dry out more, yesterday, but the park is still too wet and soft to open today. We were able to fill and redirect some of the more significant pooling and covered most of the more saturated areas to soak up some water. We will be back out tomorrow to finish cleaning up the areas that were too wet to work on today. We are hoping everything will be in a good shape by Friday. Thank you to @charleswendorf , @bfdhs13 , @mrodriguezbmx , and @blutes77 for coming out and digging in the mud today.

Daylight savings ended tonight with a Laid back Halloween sunset session.

With the help of the volunteers, we were able to really clean up the Intermediate line, and patch up so areas on the Advanced and Expert lines. We really appreciate when volunteers give us a little bit of their time to help keep the park in good condition for every one to ride. We couldn’t do it without you!

On Harlow’s second trip to the park, he spent the morning doing one footers on every jump on the Intermediate line. It is pretty rad to see how quickly kids progress out at the park.
