Good Afternoon SPNLL Families! Thanks for your patience during this very fluid and ever changing time! There has been a lot of movement and changes with the restrictions that we have been under during the Pandemic. The good news is...we are officially resuming activity effective this week. Your coaches will be communicating the new "camp/practice" schedule for each of your teams along with the protocols that are in place to resume safe activities. If you have not received c...ommunication from your coach please reach out via [email protected] and we will get you set up. Protocols will be posted at Santee Pioneer field and every team will be issued a set of cleaning equipment for their use. Fields will also have extra cleaning supplies in stock. The league WILL NOT clean after you however. We are not set up to clean after every team so it is the obligation of every one of you to help maintain a safe environment for your family and others. I cannot stress this enough...the league will not clean after you. We are all expected to be safe, be smart, stay distanced per the following guidelines: https://www.cdc.gov///prevent-getting-sick/prevention.html. That being said, we are here to support and make every possible measure to help you clean up! With our new normal, we need every family to complete the Parent Consent form and Waiver that are found by copying and pasting the links below. Please print and fill out these forms and give to your coaches at your practice. Players cannot participate without completing the Parent Consent Form and returning to your coaches or team parent. If you are not able to participate with your team, please notify your coach asap. If you have not contacted your coach or attended a practice by Friday June 26th, you will be removed from the roster so we can move players to fill teams if necessary. Lastly, we realize that this has been a trying time for all. Little League is a non-profit and expenses are front loaded into the season which means we use registration dollars to prepare and start the season, and then rely on fundraising, snack-bar and donations to run the season. That being said, we will not be offering refunds. Should your child not return now, the board is exploring options of reduced fall or spring registration fees in the form of a credit. The difficulty is the cost to operate remains the same, so the board is working to figure out options that will be in the best interest of the baseball players and our SPNLL family. Rest assured, your registration fees always go directly back to the league as each person affiliated with the league is a volunteer.
