SPTC was a proud participant in the Arbor Day celebration in Ebell Park on Tuesday as a number of our board members lent a hand planting new trees in Ebell Park and in the parkway. SPTC donated the three new Holly Oak street trees on Seventh Street. We think of the park as our "front yard" so we're delighted by the city's commitment to its renewal, and of course by all of the community members who contributed their time and money to the beautification effort. Thank you!

The Young Actor's Studio Showcase

Many years ago we lost two of our "clerestory" windows on the back side of SPTC auditorium when they were removed for exhaust fans. When we went to air conditioning the fans came out but the window openings were still covered by plywood. Now thanks to Lance Higgins and Mike Adams at the Wood Window Doctor, the plywood is gone and beautiful reproductions of the originals are installed in its place! Thanks Lance and Mike! It's wonderful to have talented craftsmen right here in town who love historic buildings as much as we do!

...or direct, or stage-manage, or run lights, or dress sets! So many fun things to do when you are involved with theater. Santa Paula Theater Center will return and you can be part of it all.

The Santa Paula Theater Center has announced two virtual acting classes beginning mid October to be taught by industry professionals who are also familiar faces on the SPTC Stage.
