Santa Barbara Aquatics is opening today with limited services based on the most recent government and public health guidelines. We are allowing a maximum of 1 Diver in our showroom at any one time. Face coverings and Social Distancing will be required. We will be open every day from 10am to 2pm, and are offering curbside and home delivery options. Please see below for procedures and offerings. We prefer notification you are coming prior to your visit. Please call 805-967-4456... or email [email protected] and we can discuss your needs. This has been a tough time for all small businesses, and we are grateful for our customers and know that we will be able to get back in the swing of things soon. Be assured we will be here to serve you in the safest way possible, and look forward to doing so! Available services - Retail Sales - are available by phone order, appointment or a phone call when you arrive at our door (doors will be locked). This is not an opportunity to hang out or browse - please know what you need prior to coming. We will meet you at the door and insure you have a mask, then pull your order. We have cleaning supplies and hand sanitizer through out the shop. - Delivery - we are available for local delivery. Please communicate your needs to us and we will set up what we can. Video chat is available if you need to see or compare any items. - Air Fills are available. Tanks can be dropped off at the door and filled while you wait. All tank handle will be sterilized before and after filling. Tanks cannot be left at the store at this time, they must be filled while you wait. - Gear service is available, though the turn around may be longer. Now is a great time to get your gear serviced so you are ready to go as our dive sites reopen. - Rentals - We are doing limited rentals right now. All rentals need to be arranged beforehand via email or phone calls. We cannot accommodate trying gear on for sizing at this time. Single day rentals must be returned the following day between 10am and 2pm. We are using Steramine in addition to our normal cleaning procedure to ensure all rental gear is disinfected. - Courses - We are currently taking sign ups for online eLearning courses. All of our eLearning courses are currently being discounted. We hope to be able to offer small, semi private pool classes in the near future, and will keep you updated. Our staff instructors are certainly excited to get back in the water with you. SB Aquatics has inventory! We have maintained inventory levels, and most manufacturers are still shipping on limited scheduled. We are taking the health of our customers and employees seriously. Sanitizer is available around the shop. We sanitize the entire at regular intervals throughout the day. We will continue to sterilize high traffic areas and surfaces between each customer.

In light of recent news and in order to comply with instructions from our government, Santa Barbara Aquatics will be closing to the public starting today. In the meantime, check out our eLearning course sale. We will also still have the ability to fulfill any orders made online or over the phone and will be offering free delivery. If you have gear at the shop or need anything, please reach out to us at [email protected] or leave us a voicemail and we will make arrangements for delivery. During this time we also have staff available to answer any product, service or general questions via email or phone call. This will be a tough time for small businesses. When this is over, remember to support your local businesses. We look forward to serving our community upon reopening as soon as it is safe to do so.

At Santa Barbara Aquatics, the health and safety of our families and community are of the upmost importance. For now, the dive shop will remain open for its normal hours. We have employees who want to work and we are following all guidelines to keep our customers and employees safe. If there is something you need, but you don't want to come in, please call or email us about delivery options. Our shipping department will also remain open at this time.... We have always made a point to clean and disinfect our changing rooms, bathrooms and surfaces daily and have implemented an even stricter cleaning and disinfecting procedure than before. This includes disinfecting all high traffic areas, chairs, changing surfaces, doorknobs and more multiple times per day. We have also made readily available disinfecting wipes and hand sanitizer to our customers. We will keep a close eye on the situation and will continue to make decisions with the safety of our families and communities in mind. We appreciate all your support. In the meantime, please stay up to date with the latest recommendations from the County and CDC, and don’t forget to wash your hands.
