"Ohio will now allow medical providers to refuse treatment that violates their religious beliefs after conservatives snuck language into the state budget at the last minute. While supporters say the provision does not permit discrimination against marginalized populations, advocates believe that it will prevent LGBTQ+ people from recieving treatment for their particular health needs."

OCD In Children & The Impact Of COVID-19 Free webinar Friday, October 30, 11:15am PT... Many children with obsessive compulsive disorder (OCD) deal with their symptoms for a while before parents, teachers, or doctors notice it. Kids with OCD may try to hide what they are experiencing out of embarrassment or confusion. Some common OCD behaviors are brushed off as "kids being kids", and some are similar to public health recommendations during COVID-19, like frequent hand washing. This complicates the process of identifying kids who are struggling with their thoughts and behaviors and could benefit from extra support.
