Hi all! My name is Chris and I work for Feeding San Diego, a local hunger relief and food rescue nonprofit. I wanted to let everyone know about a free food dist...ribution that Feeding San Diego hosts in San Marcos (and all over San Diego) called Together Tour. It is open to anyone in need. Those who register and drive through will receive fifty pounds of food, including produce, dry goods and a frozen meat protein. Our next San Marcos distribution is on July 17th at CSU San Marcos, and we now have distributions on the first Friday of every month in Escondido as well. More locations are on the Feeding San Diego website. They designed race cars, made solar powered crickets, launched ducks to explore physics, and reverse engineered microphones. Thank you teachers and students for an exciting and innovative week.
