Well... Crazy times we're in. We'd normally be getting ready for a really early set up tomorrow morning. We're hoping to reschedule for the Fall. On the brighter side...San Benito County looks like its doing pretty darn good!! Correct me if I'm wrong but I think I read 9 new cases since April 15, a slew of recoveries and only 5 active cases that they know about? Hopefully we get through this sooner then later. Hello everyone! We wanted to give you an update on The Great San Juan Bautista Rib Cook Off for 2020. I'm sure this isn't a surprise but for obvious reasons we will not be able to have it May 1st - 3rd. We are giving this COVID situation some time to run its course and we will start looking at possible dates to hopefully reschedule 2020 as soon as we can get some safe distance from it. Our vendors and BBQ competitors miss SJB very much. We look forward to returning BIGGE...R BETTER AND STRONGER. In the meantime, we have created a Virtual Festival for you to be able to connect with and support your favorite vendors from these events. Come check it out at Williams LTD Virtual Festival Plus once we hit 600 vendors / members we are doing another give away! We're close... so the timing is good to jump in and its free to join! Again... stating the obvious but small business is suffering at the moment! Find a reason to go and support a vendor and the local merchants in SJB. Pick up a to go order, grab a Growler of beer to go or a bottle of wine from someone on 3rd Street. We look forward to seeing you all again as soon as possible!
