Our new pop-up theme is up at the SJMADE Store! We're really happy with how everything has started; not just the in-store experience but also the online themed pop-up experience now up at https://www.sanjosemade.com/plants-plants-plants. Featuring over 400+ things related to our "all things plants" theme, it's Plants on Plants on Plants! Running through the end of February! We'll be adding new and exciting things all month long. We've created a single page destin...ation featuring and celebrating all things plants: DIY workshops, stickers, planters, vases, art prints, stationery, pins, home decor and uh, of course, plants and flowers! New releases, popular items, limited edition things and in general, just a wonderful shopping experience for plant lovers and plant likes. Not to mention we've transformed our store located at MOMENT (60 N. San Pedro Street, San José, CA) into an all plants theme! Already since launching in November 2020, the SJMADE Program has driven nearly $100K in sales to its participating creative small businesses through its online shop and its physical storefront located in downtown San José at SJMADE’s MOMENT micro-retail storefront. Our applications to join for 2021 are ready and open. Apply at https://www.sanjosemade.com/apply. DM if you have any questions!

In case you're wondering: the SJMADE Store will remain open for online order pick-ups (via https://www.sanjosemade.com) and in-person shopping. Read on about the ways we give people the ability to #shopsmall but also #shopsafely. IN-STORE SHOPPING: We had already required masks for entry and limited the amount of people that could be in the store at once. We'll be further limiting things to one party (max two people) in the store at once to adhere to the new stay at ...home health order for retail stores. Additionally the large opening (where a window would normally be) allows for an indoor shopping experience with outdoor air circulation. NEXT DAY ONLINE ORDER PICK-UPS: Shopping online at https://www.sanjosemade.com gives people a way to #shopsmall all the way want and our easy (and free) pick-up allows people to pick up their products with no contact. Our store window x counter along the sidewalk allows people to pick up their order without stepping inside the store at all. LOCAL DELIVERY: From Dec. 9 thru Dec. 23, we will be offering two-day contactless local delivery in San José and limited surrounding areas. Free local delivery on orders over $125. Otherwise, local delivery will cost $15 per order. Please keep in mind that the people delivering are not contract or seasonal workers but full-time employees of SJMADE. More info at https://www.sanjosemade.com. Shop online at https://www.sanjosemade.com and pick up your order the very next day at the SJMADE Store located at @moment.sj (60 N. San Pedro Street, San José, CA 95113). Now featuring over 2,300 products (and adding more every day) by some of your favorite makers, artists, designers and creative small businesses.

Not just #SmallBusinessSaturday. Gotta be #SmallBusinessEveryday this year, next year, all years. We just wanted to take a moment to give our thanks, to give our thoughts and to give our best hopes and our best show of support to all the small businesses out there. To the ones who are continuing to take on all the challenges this cruel and unrelenting pandemic has put in front of them and who continue to fight back and move forward. To the ones who have hustled, ...hustled and hustled some more til they found new and creative ways to thrive against all odds. And especially to the ones who had to close up shop either temporarily or permanently this year. We are so, so, so sorry. And we very much hope this is only a momentary setback, a prelude to your bounceback, your comeback, your better days ahead. While there are many, many things that make a community beautiful and soulful and good, it's worth mentioning here that small businesses are super impactful in making your community and your city distinct. Your local small businesses are the bulwarks against the cruel sameness and uncaring soul-less-ness of corporate retail. And what more do we need to say: It's just deeply, deeply unfair for corporate retailers like Amazon, Target, Walmart, etc. to have thrived and to continue to thrive during this pandemic. But this isn't just doom and gloom though. We know what we can do and what we gotta do. Even if you can't #shopsmall #shoplocal #buylocal this year--because lord knows it's not just the small businesses that our struggling in our community right now--we hope you can join us to #supportsmallbusiness. Even if it's not with San José Made, as you can see from the latter slides that our sister company Moveable put together, there are so many beautiful and wonderful small businesses to shop and support this holiday shopping season and beyond. Sorry for the long post (but aren't all our captions kinda long??). Anyway, lots of love, lots of thanks and lots of "we're gonna make it" to you and yours. #SanJose

So proud of our sister company Moveable Feast! They've raised over $23K for small business food trucks to provide free meals to frontline healthcare workers in Santa Clara County. Really smart way to help small businesses and healthcare workers at the same time! https://charity.gofundme.com/o/en/campaign/feedthefrontline

We'll be giving away free SJMADE tote bags (see the design below) to the first 150 attendees each day at this year's San José Craft Holiday Fair 2019 - Over 275 Makers & Artists. We'll be giving 250 SJMADE vinyl stickers (see the design below) to the next 250 attendees each day. Meaning the first 150 attendees to enter the event (through the front door) will each receive a free SJMADE tote bag and then the next 250 attendees to enter the event (through the front door) will ea...ch receive a free SJMADE vinyl sticker. Every year we do these giveaways at the door and every year there's a long line before the doors open, meaning these giveaways do not last very long (mere seconds!).
