Our friend and Board member Alexander McQuilkin is fundraising to support the Community Center! Zanders's participation in our organization is central to so much that we do--We are lucky to have such a kind, generous, and involved Board member like him! Let's help Alexander reach his $500 fundraising goal. Every cent will be donated to the Community Center! Thank you for supporting our work!

This Friday June 25th, 12noon - 1pm West Marin Senior Services presents an important virtual workshop - Know Your End of Life Options. Learn about the California End of Life Option Act which authorizes medical aid in dying for terminally ill adults. This law went into effect in 2016; however, for many, the law is still complicated. Dr. Dennis Pocekay will outline the process a terminally ill person has to go through to access the law and what you can do to help ensure that me...dical aid in dying is available for you and your loved ones. We will also look at the Compassion & Choices COVID-19 Toolkit and how COVID-19 affects the End of Life Option Act. This Zoom presentation will be led by Dr. Dennis Pocekay, a retired physician who specialized (at various times) in Internal Medicine, Geriatrics, Sports Medicine, Occupational & Environmental Medicine, and by local West Marin resident, Christina Goodwin, the California State Manager for Compassion & Choices.
