Coach Libby's G08 and G06 Vikings played a total of 10 games over the weekend at the Santa Cruz Beach soccer tournament this weekend, right next to the boardwalk! She had this to say about the fun weekend... "The '06 and the '08 girls teams both came home with silver medals, which was great. "The '08 team was a combined effort of both '08 White and '08 Red players, in their first beach soccer experience so congrats to those players who were willing to try something new.... "The '06 girls were in the final in 2019, so they were repeat silver medalists and congrats to them for maintaining their competitive level and managing to sample all that the Boardwalk has to offer! "We have sunburns, sore feet, silver medals, and smiles! "A special mention to Catalina, who played in goal for 6 games yesterday (3 games for the '06 team and 3 games for the '08 team) and made some big saves!!"
